Please join our new City Council members at City Hall (107 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903) around 1:00 today to sign up to speak about the Community Solar Garden.
Today City Council is considering a resolution to postpone the expansion of the Community Solar Garden until it's more economical and equitable. The expansion subsidy, which is scheduled to begin on May 1, willl cost all ratepayers between $22 and $33 million over the next 20 years. Join us if you don't believe that everybody in town should pay higher rates in order to subsidize solar energy. The earlier you arrive and sign up, the earlier you will be able to speak, so come early.
